Children's Programming at Fabrangen
Fabrangen Saturday Morning Children's Program
Join
us every first and third Saturday for special activities! (In October,
the program will be on the 2nd and 4th Shabbat of the month.)
School-age children gather
from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon for creative programs -- from drama and
music to games and even kosher-for-Shabbat cooking. This program is
lead by professional Jewish educators, and provides a wonderful opportunity
for our kids to participate in their own Jewish peer group. The program
is built around a core of children who are committed to engaging in
Jewish learning and social opportunities. At the same time, each Shabbat's
activities have a stand-alone curriculum, and drop-ins and visitors
are always welcome.
Fabrangen programs provide
a good social base for Jewish kids, and there is no fee for our programs.
Hebrew school and additional educational opportunities are available
at various local congregations. Please contact the Fabrangen coordinator,
Clare Feinson at fabrangen@yahoo.com or by phone at 202-595-9138 for
more information.
