Children's Programming at Fabrangen

Fabrangen Saturday Morning Children's Program Resumes

Join us every first and third Saturday for special activities!

School-age children gather from 10:45 - 12:15 for creative programs -- from drama and music to games and even kosher-for-Shabbat cooking. This program is lead by professional Jewish educators, and provides a wonderful opportunity for our kids to participate in their own Jewish peer group. The program is built around a core of children who are committed to engaging in Jewish learning and social opportunities. At the same time, each Shabbat’s activities have a stand-alone curriculum, and drop-ins and visitors are always welcome. Children 5-8 meet 10:45 to 11:30 and those ages 9-11 meet from 11:30 to 12:15. Supervision is available when a child’s age group is not meeting for programming.

A monthly Tot Shabbat is held at 10:45 for ages 2-5. The program is led cooperatively by parents, with all older kids welcome to participate and help. As always, drop-ins and visitors welcome. See below for information on regular provision of child care.

Fabrangen programs provide a good social base for Jewish kids, and there is no fee for our programs. Hebrew school and additional educational opportunities are available at various local congregations. Childcare for younger children:

Childcare for ages 5 and younger runs from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, and is available every Shabbat. Drop-ins and visitors are always welcome at Fabrangen. If you are bringing a significant number of new children, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
