Children are an important part of our Fabrangen community. On
the first and third Shabbat mornings of each month, we provide
creative
and educational Jewish programs for school-aged children. Drop-ins
and visitors always welcome. Fabrangen also provides child care
each Shabbat morning (for younger children when there is a program
and for all pre-bar/bat mitzvah age children when no program is
scheduled). Hebrew school and additional educational opportunities
are available at various local congregations, some of which have
special fee arrangements. Fabrangen programs provide a good social
base for Jewish kids, and there is no fee for our programs.

Our "mission" statement.
Shomrim are responsible for opening the building, turning on the lights,
covering the
table, putting out the Torah & locking
up. They do not do set-up, kiddush or clean-up
but are responsible to make sure it’s
been done.

Many of our members are published authors - here is a bibliography
of many of their works.
