Egalitarian, Participatory Havurah in Washington, DC
Founded 1971
- Fabrangen
holds Shabbat Services Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. at the Washington
Ethical Society building at 7750 16th Street NW, with access via
Silver Spring Metro and the S
buses.
- Child
care and children's education programs run during services.
- Newcomers,
visitors, and guests are warmly welcomed at our activities.

Child care is available during services and Kid's Shabbat
services are held the first and third Shabbat of every month.
For families who would like to pursue additional religious education
opportunities, we also have tuition agreements with the Ohr Kodesh
Religious School and the Adas Israel Religious School.

Shomrim are responsible for opening the building, turning on the lights,
covering the
table, putting out the Torah & locking
up. They do not do set-up, kiddush or clean-up
but are responsible to make sure it’s
been done.
