Giving tzedakah (charitable donations) is a long-standing Jewish custom at the High Holidays. We suggest that you consider following this custom in one or more of the following ways:
- Giving to Fabrangen to support our High Holiday programming.
- Giving to one or more of the 2025/5786 Tzedakah Recipients listed below. Every year, Fabrangen selects a few charitable organizations that we recommend for your holiday giving. Bundling the donations increases our impact on the recipient organizations.
- For your convenience, the form below allows you to combine giving to one or more of this year’s Tzedakah Recipients and to Fabrangen as well; you can make a contribution in a single PayPal or credit card transaction, or by check.
Fabrangen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; our EIN is 52-0908641. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable under the law.

Word Central Kitchen
Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit organization that is first to the frontlines to provide fresh meals in response to crises. WCK is currently seeking to rapidly scale up production to an unprecedented one million hot meals a day in Gaza.
This ambitious plan requires an increase to five high-capacity field kitchens and enough supplies to outfit scores of smaller community kitchens at the neighborhood level throughout Gaza.
