Fabrangen West Torah Cover
This Torah cover contains the names of all Fabrangen children who became Bar or Bat Mitzvah up to the present. It is used at Fabrangen West.

Fabrangen West meets for occasional Shabbat or holiday services and meals.

Virginia residents have always been an active part of Fabrangen. For 15 years, Fabrangen’s satellite minyan, Fabrangen West, met monthly. The option of virtual events and online Shabbat services allow Virginia residents to have easy access to the Fabrangen community.   Occasional in-person events will also occur, so please check the calendar for Fabrangen West events.

  • Enough people usually come to make a minyan, but not enough to get lost in the crowd.
  • Usually, a dairy vegetarian potluck meal follows each service with time to chat.
  • Accessible by Metro –  just contact us ahead of time to arrange a pick-up a the Dunn Loring station on the Orange Line.
  • Children of all ages are welcome!

For more information from the Virginia point-of-view, or to RSVP to a Fabrangen West event, please contact John & Bracha Laster by emailing fabwest@fabrangen.org

The warm atmosphere, lively discussions, and sense of community make attending Fabrangen West one of the highlights of my month. Bracha and John are terrific hosts and Fabrangen West is a gem! – Anna R.
