Fabrangen has participated every year in the annual EDCJCC December 25 Day of Service since 2011. We volunteer at the Father McKenna Center by preparing breakfast and lunch for men in the Drop-In Center, and delivering meals to low-income families in the neighborhood. We also lead singing and share the lunch meal with the men.

The Father McKenna Center – on the campus of Gonzaga College High near Union Station – serves the needs of poor, men, women and children through a variety of programs, such as the Men’s Drop-In Center, drug and alcohol counseling, and feeding the hungry. During the winter months the Center provides a hypothermia unit and hot meals for the homeless.

Fabrangeners and their children volunteer every year. Because of our volunteer work, the regular staff are able to celebrate Christmas with their families. We are so grateful to the McKenna Center for making this opportunity available to Fabrangen.
