About Our Dues Structure

As shown above, Fabrangen has a “fair share” dues structure, with three suggested dues levels – a regular individual rate of $700/year, a sustaining rate of $1050/year, and a reduced rate of $240/year. Unlike many other congregations where dues are based on family membership, our dues are per adult, reflecting the diverse nature of our community which includes many single people as well as couples with and without children.

This dues structure, developed with Fabrangen’s values in mind, provides rates that reflect the different abilities of our members to support Fabrangen financially, while at the same time providing a base of support that minimizes the need for additional fundraising to meet our budget. We stress that there is only one kind of Fabrangen member; the dues rates reflect only our varying financial capacity to support Fabrangen.

The sustaining level of $1050 effectively combines the regular dues rate with an additional annual contribution and will provide important support to sustain our community. The reduced rate of $240 is an option for those who cannot pay the regular individual rate of $700, but who still want to provide meaningful support for the community. However, if these options do not fit your personal needs or circumstances, you are welcome to email the Fabrangen Coordinator for a confidential discussion about another dues arrangement.
